On September 19-20, the USC Swimming and Diving family met at "The Dungeon" for the annual Alumni Relays event. There were over 65 alumni in attendance ranging from the class of 1968 to 2025. Take a look at some of the photos at the bottom of this page. The links below will take you to a shared Google drive with all the available photos from the event.
Along with the usual activities in the pool, there was a brief memorial held to remember former Trojan family member Presley Bard Anderson who recently lost her battle with lung cancer. During the "paddle out", head coach Meghan Hawthorne had these words to say...
Alumni Relays '25
"As we come together today to celebrate being part of one of the best swimming programs in the nation, we also pause to honor someone very special to USC Swimming & Diving — our beloved teammate, Presley Bard Anderson. In 2022, Presley was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and after one of the hardest and most courageous battles, we sadly lost her this past spring.
When you think about USC Swimming in the 2000s, you think about Presley. She was magic — someone who brought magic to everywhere she went. She was a ferocious leader and a huge part of reinvigorating the success of USC Women’s Swimming. Her excellence didn’t just lift her — it lifted everyone around her, and that energy is still part of this program today.
One of my favorite things about Presley was her laughter and humor. Presley had this way of brightening even the gloomiest mornings as we huddled in the locker room waiting for 4-4-4 to start on the top, or giving us something to laugh over when we were told we had 15 meters under water into a ten-meter finish. She made every moment better simply by being there.

Beyond the pool, Presley was a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother to four young children. Her love, her strength, and her light extended far beyond swimming, touching every part of her life and everyone who knew her.
Before you leave today, please take a moment to write down a memory of Presley on a postcard. We’ll be sharing these, along with photos from today, with her family at her upcoming celebration of life. Presley could simply never be forgotten.
Please take a moment for Presley now — keep her spirit alive within this water, as she continues to flow within this program. Lay your respect, remember her light, and may she Fight On forever."
